This is a wine full of contradictions, it’s an oxymoron (pronounced Awk Sim Or On) in a world full of similes. It’s Military Intelligence and Deafening Silence in liquid form.
On the nose it’s black cherry and true fiction. It hits the tongue with a jammy aggressiveness and scalding coolness of it’s soberingly high alcohol content.
Mid Palate you start to perceive some tobacco and cocoa, the lascivious grace of lively acid makes this a food friendly wine. The tannins finish smooth and round giving fullness to your empty mouth.
I can say with overbearing modesty, this wine’s worth the 50 bucks i paid for it.
